Whether it's a ball, a graduation, or a special occasion gown, the right alterations make all the difference between an outfit that's "fine" and one that fits like it was made for you. We offer the same precise, hands-on alteration service for formal wear as we do for all our clients. We can take gowns in let them out, hem them, take up the straps or add anything you might like to your gown.
The Process
The Consultation
We start with a relaxed, no-obligation consultation where we discuss fit, hemline, and any adjustments needed. Here we discuss the event, and what you need you gown to do and how you’d like to feel.
The Progress Fitting
Once alterations are underway, you'll come in for a fitting to check the adjusted fit. If we are doing more extensive alterations you may need multiple progress appointments. We'll pin and confirm any final tweaks, making sure the gown sits perfectly and feels comfortable for a full day of celebrating.
The Final Fit
Your gown is pressed, finished, and ready to collect. We will try the gown on one last time to make sure everything is as you want it.
